I want to put together erratic words too long rested in my mind, as the tide returns I listen, I wait. Time is stripped bare of any music, silence behind my eyes - I imagine the rhythm of our breaths conjoined as the tide returns I listen, I wait. Stars are aligned to someone else's sorrow, I can tell, sisters of the night, they don't speak to me for once, but their song I understand - as the tide returns I listen, I wait. Now please walk with me, miracle, along the lines of a sleepless thought; I have so many things to tell you. Take my hand, miracle, as the tide returns I will listen, I don't know how to wait any more. © Copyright I.B. 2014
